We finally have your problem solved! Too often a women's shaft is purchased and does not properly fit the head that you want to use. Women's shafts are made in two diameters, 7/8" and 1". Almost all women's heads are made with a 1" diameter throat (with the exception of some low end stick models that are almost always sold as complete sticks to avoid issues). When you have a 7/8" diameter shaft it needs one of these adapters to securely fit with a 1" diameter head throat. This adapter makes up the 1/8" difference. We like this adapter because it is virtually universal. Many adapters we have tried to use in the past are specific to certain heads and/or shafts. Most 7/8" shafts sold today will include an adapter with them, so you do not need to be proactive in purchasing one of these adapters now if you are ordering a new shaft... you might just need them in the future.
